This article discusses the features of a quick translator that can work offline and translate text from photos. The app can translate between any of the 100 languages when online and from French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, or Turkish to English while offline. Users can also speak words or phrases in Russian, Ukrainian, English, or Turkish to translate them into any of these languages, or have the app read the translations to them. Additionally, users can learn new words and their meanings through usage examples in the app's dictionary, take a picture of a menu, road sign, book page, or choose a photo with text from their camera roll to view its translation right over the image, translate entire sites directly in the app, and select and translate single words or phrases in other apps on their smartphone running Android 6.0. The app also includes a predictive typing function, automated language detection, and allows users to save translations in Favorites and view their translation history at any time.
