Ok so, I just spent the last 3 days researching and testing 15 document scanner apps… Besides the usual, my top feature requirements were 1) ability to upload to cloud, print and/or save to device 2) robust color editing features 3) batch scanning and multi pg docs and lastly 4) no upload restrictions or required subscription – 1 time pay only… I have a pretty old phone, so some (4) were automatically eliminated due to freezing. To test, I used the same colored, carbon document that had a mix of type and faded handwriting. I used same lighting conditions and device. Well, Doc Scanner beat them all. Only 1 other app came in as a close 2nd (initials are FS). However, beyond less features, the ads were more invasive and their Pro version cost $3 more than this app. I’m going to enjoy DS’s highlighting feature – something I hadn’t thought of needing until I actually used it. The only con I can find is it takes a bit to get acquainted with all the features. This app is great for Attorneys, students and other document gatherers. I purchased within 1 hr of using it, but the Free version should be more than enough for most. Hope my review helps!

Doc Scanner has been very useful and effective for editing the documents and giving very good results. However,I have encountered a bug in the pdf edit feature.I am here to report that the input character t from the mobile keyboard is entered twice.Futhermore any text being selected for editing converts single character t to Please fix this issue as soon as possible so i can countinue to edit more documents.(I am not sure whether this is common issue or it is something else).
The best Document Scanner app on Android. And it also gives you a PDF Editor. I subscribed to the Premium Version because the feature set is simply that good. I really like the OCR features as well. The image and PDF editing tools of this app are simply mind-blowing. It can even create a long image.

it’s very hard to Setting in low kb setting min 100 kb our All Pg And R C And Adhar card.
I think you guys have update the version but I feel it has started giving problem my scanned documents are not arranged in sequence when I convert the pics into pdf the numbering of pages get shuffled that was not the case earlier… it take more time also as you have chance the cropping feature separately as earlier this feature was automatic… you have this bit difficult to use.. plz consider this issue and coorect it
Wonderful app, very easy to organise documents and notes. Have been using since more than 2 years now. 5/5 ratings from my side.
So far, so good. I can take pictures of all my documents (with multiple pages) and convert to pdf. I can rearrange the page order too. Since a photo is never taken perfectly head-on, you can also crop it at odd angles and the program will distort the image back to it’s original dimensions. There are also good handful of filters to augment the color or text appearance. This is my first pdf maker app so I can’t compare others, but I am very happy with the functionality and how easy it is to use.

scan quality is not good as other applications like adobe. pink, blue spots observing on corner of the page.

Good app with all features which are absolutely FREE. This apps gives us all the features which a premium CamScanner gives for a load of money. This app is a good alternative to CamScanner. But I just want this app developers to please reduce the options in share options and instead add them in the group of editing the document… Thank you very much for giving us an EXCELLENT APP.
Overall an excellent app. The only problem I faced is the amount of time it takes to process PDFs. I am not sure if that’s just the amount of time it always takes or it is a fault of this app but it would be good if that was improved.
Best app ever for scanning document. Even better than Adobe scanner. I will recommend you all to install this app. Although it contains ads but that too are limited.
The best app u can use for editing papers……Only for study purposes…u can edit photos in different layouts and the fun thing is that it will auto crop the image and it will be always right… We can make this into pdf or ppt and share it anywhere…sooo nice💖💖love it …
Everything is awesome except one that why there is need to adjust every photo after every click as doesn’t require in batch mode in cam scanner Solution: editing of all photos can be done at once after clicking all the photos. Please adjust this feature since it is very difficult to adjust every time where it can be done at once. Thanks for made in india app
