Ok so, I just spent the last 3 days researching and testing 15 document scanner apps… Besides the usual, my top feature requirements were 1) ability to upload to cloud, print and/or save to device 2) robust color editing features 3) batch scanning and multi pg docs and lastly 4) no upload restrictions or required subscription – 1 time pay only… I have a pretty old phone, so some (4) were automatically eliminated due to freezing. To test, I used the same colored, carbon document that had a mix of type and faded handwriting. I used same lighting conditions and device. Well, Doc Scanner beat them all. Only 1 other app came in as a close 2nd (initials are FS). However, beyond less features, the ads were more invasive and their Pro version cost $3 more than this app. I’m going to enjoy DS’s highlighting feature – something I hadn’t thought of needing until I actually used it. The only con I can find is it takes a bit to get acquainted with all the features. This app is great for Attorneys, students and other document gatherers. I purchased within 1 hr of using it, but the Free version should be more than enough for most. Hope my review helps!

    08/2025 within minutes, I was scanning, naming, reordering, tagging documents and saving them to my own Dropbox account. Bought the lifetime premium because the value is excellent. Getting used to the interface. Wish there was a way to quickly access the NOTES put with a page. I have been a Camscanner PRO user for more than a decade and wanted an alternative. This app checked all the boxes.

    Superb application…the best thing, any type of document can be opened and that to without any ad and super fastly, I am using this app from past three years and couldn’t find any problem. can’t express that how much it has helped me…just love it ❤️

    I have used several “Scan” apps on both iPhones and Android phones over the years. Doc Scanner appears to be the most versatile and function rich one. While it does not allow adding pages to an existing scan. The “merge” solves the problem. There are other situations like this but solutions are usually around the corner if you search.

    The app is very good, but I would like to suggest that it should also include a feature that allows arranging the pages of a PDF in a book format for printing, with odd and even pages automatically aligned to the left and right sides accordingly.

    Scans are of a high quality, lots of functions and settlings, no full screen ads. One bug I’ve found so far: 3×3 grid in camera view and last used filter are not saved when you restart the app.

    Its amazing app . Fastest than its compatibles . Accurate in sizing and shaping documents . No limit for documentation . Perfect app for office , students , professionals and even for naives . I liked it the most . Will recommend strongly .

    Good app but plse don’t set VIBRANT as default in the document filter section in settings and the document doesn’t look nice. Plse fix this 🙏🙏

    This app was very good. For my profession it is very helpful. For scanning pages and cropping, it is very nice. But we cannot change some default settings like setting the brush size,etc. And addvertisement is also disturbing continuously when we are working online. If we close one add the next add is coming. Other than that the app is excellent. 👍👌

    This is the ost brilliant that I ever came accross. Thanks. For students writing 20 pages in exam and scannning them individually was a nightmare and very bulky, but this app has made the lives of students easier. Now we get more time to write in exam as we know that our scanning will get completed in 5 mins. Thanku

    Tha application is really so good. But one thing that need to improve/update, when pdf reader mode on phone screen light off automatically as set phone default screen timer. Hope, it will be improve as soon as possible. Thank you🙂

    Excellent experience. Using this app since quite a long time. I paid for the premium version though initially not a heavy user, just to encourage the developer. However over the period of time I realised that I got much more than I paid for. I am using this app for more than just a doc scanner like editing images, pdf files, OCR etc. Many times due to the versatility and quick response of the app I tend to use it more than other windows based apps in my day to day needs
