RESPONSE: While I am sure you should know about the Ads, my initial experience is valid. There were no ads for the first couple of months, I assailed by ads before and after processing. UPDATE: This was an efficient, worthwhile app to use but in recent weeks it has become muddied with intrusive and annoying ads. While still useful, it is now aesthetically ugly. INITIAL: An amazingly useful app which has produced good quality back up copies of files and reduced storage requirements dramatically.

    This app is very useful to save data especially when it’s the receiver who’s data gets used up. This gives you control on the amount of compression. Update May 2024 I’ve continued to utilize this impactful app to conserve data when sending photos to Ghana. Like most African countries, Airtime data is purchased and bundled at a cost often by sacrificing money needed for other important daily life sustaining needs. Simple to use! This App, Is a Life Saver ! ❤️

    Would give higher marks if could tell where to store new file and or to delete original file..so dont I end up with duplicate pics with just different file size.

    Love this app!! I have only used it for compressing photos so don’t know what else it may do but for making the file size small enough to be able to send numerous photos at a time through email or similar, without getting the dreaded “file size is too large” message, it’s done the job perfectly for me. Many times!

    I selected this app because I recently downloaded their video compression app, which works quite well, but I also needed one for photos. This app also works well and is as easy to use.

    Quick and easy user interface. However, when images are compressed they’re also resized down to 2072 x 1554. None of the original EXIF information is retained. There is no configuration options or settings available. Selecting the manual option and entering the same resolution as the original image results in a file size twice as large as the original. So I doubt there is any actual image compression happening, but rather image resizing only?

    Does the job very well. but at 1% too it compressed a lot. like my photo was 2 MB and at 1% compression it made the photo to be 350 KB. that’s not good. please fix it.
