User Reviews for Color picker APP

Unfortunately no option to discard # for Code button, you must do several steps via history instead. If you give camera permission the camera will start every app launch and every image switch even if you mostly don’t want to use camera. Have to close image to go to settings. Very convenient controls when dragging, zooming and picking color. If you use camera you have nice controls such as exposure lock and setting focus modes. Active development – high chance of upcoming features and tuning.

Pick the color in a picture or photo and it gives you the RGB, HSV, RYB and everything in between….without ads! This is the best one, for sure.

Great app in this cat but I got glitchy greenish camera view that hence can’t be used as it’s meant to be (required rights granted), only still photos/screenshots mode is operational for me

I used this to help understand what colors can be used for snowy themed forests and northern lights. Snowy landscapes at night aren’t white, maybe only as a base when starting to paint on a black canvas. Was pretty amazed at the range of colors in shades and tones this app was picking up on while looking at photos.

A PLUS you get to download to evaluate. Unlike other apps that now insist you buy first. In my opinion definitely for professional purposes! Should be marketed as such. Is beyond my comprehension. The three stars are because it probably does a very good job but I can’t with all honestly say it does. Really unable to put it to use.

This is the perfect app for an artist who wants to utilize camera tech to explore how color works in the real world. Easy to explore hue shifts between light and shadow, saturation shifts, color relativity effects, light bounce, etc. You can choose to explore the color properties in any standard representation out there. From RGB values to HSV values to you name it. You can color pick from photos you take or from just the live camera’s view without even taking photos.

After trying two or three other colour apps over the years, I was delighted to find this one which gave me exactly what I wanted; it would measure through the camera or from an image. It did not unfortunately allow me to set the white balance as accurately as I would have liked, but then neither did my S22 Ultra phone!

I was expecting that the CIE LAB and CIE XYZ values will also be exported for the captured images. But this is not happening. How do we get the CIE and all the lab values selected in the CSV file history export

It good I regret there is no option to save or get the code of the colore Currently, I use the screenshot of the phone, but it’s not always useful because when we move the phone, the scanning color may change

Thanks for the app, it has helped me a lot with very dark shades I have a hard time. But the images appears, sometimes, changed when I open it on the app. When I look through other apps, images appear smooth with no lower resolution, but when I open on the app, these rough patches appear.I don’t know what to do.
