User Reviews for Capacities APP

Phenomenal content as a desktop app, bafflingly poor execution on mobile. As other reviews have stated, the app is woefully buggy. Every once in a while you’ll click a string of text to edit it and a word will just disappear; there are info buttons (the little circled “i” icon) that do nothing; If this was released as a “Read Only” version of one’s account it might be adequate, but the possibility of random data deletion as well as the app’s 100% lack of direction/info makes it almost unusable.

Sharing (ie., capturing info) does not work. Try to share a URL from a browser to Capacities and it will crash. Defeats the purpose of the app. Once fixed, this is likely a 5* app. I’m amazed by Capacities (using web version) and realise I’ve been waiting for this app for 25 years.

Was seeking alternatives to functional note taking apps. Congrats Team, you’re doing great. This is one of the most beautiful apps which by foundation has a lot of potential to expand beyond the competition. Bravo, Kudos

Great concept and potential, there is lots to love about the app. Unfortunately, the android app is very buggy. I was hoping to use this as my main notes app, but unless they fix the issues, I can’t advise using it.

I love this app. As a long time Notion and Obsidian user, I was always wishing for something that combines the best of both. Capacities has done this and more. It works seamless for the way I like to organize my thoughts, notes, tasks and journaling all in one place. It helps push creativity and the experience works great on all devices. I look forward to every update and hope they continue to execute on everything they have on their road map.

Absolutely the best note taking App I have ever tried. I was so impressed by it that I reached out to Capacities via email. It is transforming and revolutionising my entire workflow, synchronising flawlessly between portable Apps and PC. I absolutely love it and can’t wait to see it develop and build.

I haven’t been able to thoroughly test Capacities, mostly because of a restriction issue with my library. I can use the app in the library, but not the website. That isn’t the dev’s fault — however, that’s where the lack of feature parity with desktop seriously affects me. For example, I can’t create object types at all by any means rn. Otherwise this app coincides with a change in priorities in favor of offline support. In the little that I’ve tested, this IS the case, which is HUGE for me!

I’ve used Notion, Obsidian and Anytype but Capacities in my opinion has literally got it all, it functions seamlessly, easy to understand, you can export to PDF and the exported version is aesthetically pleasing!, offline too! and the free plan is fair with all the features you might need ! I definately rate this the top Notes app of 2025 in my book and highly recommend it without a doubt, well done to the developer or development team, this right here is pure gold and deserves an award !

Weird typing experience. You have a weird bug that makes typing inconsistent and even downright unusable. I can type my characters pretty well on other apps but not here, sometimes it doesnt even enter the character i just pressed on where the input indicator is. Yall need to fix this.

Capacities offers a compelling suite of features for journaling and note-taking. As a user migrating from Dynalist and Obsidian, I especially appreciate the seamless multi-device knowledge management. The WhatsApp integration is a definite plus.

A great notetaker with expanded features. Capcities offers all essential features across muilple platforms. One of the top advantages is the rate of enhancement and development. Having used Click-up, Notion, Amplenote and Evernote I find the usability and utility of Capacities to be superior.

A good app with Tons of BUGS! – Incomplete and Buggy Android version: 1. There are so many issues with the Android app, both on mobile and tablet versions. 2. The graph is missing in the tablet version. 3. Unable to see how to check data storage used; however, device memory usage can be checked. But cloud storage usage is unavailable. 4. When we add links, the same object gets linked multiple times; it’s a kind of bug. 5. Sync – Mobile version doesn’t syc well with the desktop version

guys, your user onboarding UX is rock solid and superior to most similar apps, 🎉 I prefer EN language by default, but as a Hungarian I checked the HU localization – a tip: rework the wording. Hungarian is similar to German in a sense that it differentiates the formal “You” and the friendly “you” (German: Sie vs du). On one screen the text is formal, then the next screen text is informal. Unnecessarily difficult language, I know, but you might want to polish the HU wording.

Almost all of the issues I had were fixed in recent updates 👍. The back swipe gesture doesn’t seem to work, it doesn’t go ‘back’ to where I’d intuitively think it’s going to.
