I mean, it’s a calculator. Does basic operations well enough, but sometimes you have to be extra careful and incredibly literal with your syntax if you want to get the result you’re looking for. Other than that, it’s got a great feel and is very stable given that it’s a Samsung default app. However, I just wish there was either an app extension type thing or extra modes with more scientific calculator stuffs. I often need to do longer calculations and opening Desmos on Chrome can take a bit.

This app changed my life. I wake up, I think about samsung calculator and the equations that it has helped me solve. Then I proceed to launch the samsung calculator app and look at how well designed the buttons are, the looks, the logic behind the scenes, but most importantly the unit converter feature! Very good application. High five to whoever is the lead developer of samsung calculator.
It’s a calculator. 1+1 does definitely equal 2. Plus it shows the total w/o having to hit ‘equals’, it has an “oops back up” button in case you type something wrong so you don’t need to start from scratch, and it also has a history of all you’ve done. I’d like to have some themes to choose for it though. Give it some color choices.
Works great never had a problem with it, I’d give it 5 stars if they added a feature where we can change the calculator skin

It works as advertised, but it opens with too many functions. I prefer a calculator that performs basic function of arithmatic. I don’t mind access to the engineering and ballistic calculations, but I would prefer they be in an alternate view. The app has no “settings” function or tab to choose the higher math functions, so they can’t be turned on and off. [g=penxue][g=penxue][g=penxue]
The clicking, so much unnecessary clicking noise. Why can’t I turn it off?

Not the best calculator is a little confusing.
I love this calculator, its my constant companion and it should be. It prevents me from going over budget because I let it keep an eye on my spending. Now, I know what you are thinking…a calculator can only receive input, it doesn’t give out anything….oh…but it does…its easy to handle and record, I use the history feature often and most of all, it addicts my conscience and that keeps me from going into debt….I just love it! I love the color too!!! Enjoy!

While the app works great on the tablet and does utilize the big display I’m still reluctant to use it bc of the lack of 2 important features – A currency converter and universal access to the app. I think opening up the app to phones other than Samsung would be a great chance to show them how great Samsung apps are.
Please allow pressing of Equal button even if there’s a plus/minus/etc symbol at the end, it keeps saying “Invalid Format”, but it gets hard to use because I add a plus sign at the end after every added item in my grocery cart, then if I’m done I press equals to see the result (because the results won’t show otherwise). also maybe just always show the result of the current calculations in real-time, even without pressing the Equal button first, which will speed up things even more.

Good calculator Should have a memory function.
We are missing the currency converter option, it’s a shame that iOS calculator has it first. I travel a lot and for me to have this tool is super important. Hope that very very soon you include this feature in to the next update. If it’s in the app, let me know.
I love the functionality and that it has a unit converter built in. My only complaint is the aesthetic of the main numbers. They seem to be an afterthought. Hopefully an update will give them more space and color to stand out from the rest of the buttons.
