I mean, it’s a calculator. Does basic operations well enough, but sometimes you have to be extra careful and incredibly literal with your syntax if you want to get the result you’re looking for. Other than that, it’s got a great feel and is very stable given that it’s a Samsung default app. However, I just wish there was either an app extension type thing or extra modes with more scientific calculator stuffs. I often need to do longer calculations and opening Desmos on Chrome can take a bit.

Very basic calculator with history but no computing memory. It came pre-installed on Samsung tablet as a system app with no uninstall capability. I have had to install another calculator with the functions that I need, so this is essentially bloatware. But, on the plus side, Samsung does offer this without ads for all Android users who need only basic computing.

I have found a bug, (I don’t know if it’s a feature, it doesn’t seem to be) example to describe the situation: type 2+2,press the equal sign, it gives 4 in green colour. When I press the equal sign again(don’t do anything else just press it again) it adds 2 to the previous output (i.e. 4). I can keep pressing the equal sign again and again and it adds 2 repeatedly.
Great but a wider selection kind of calculator s would be good like a fraction calculator so I give it 3 stars.

Hello Samsung..this app is very nice but. Everytime i open it, it kicks me out of the app..and when i press update on my playstore it kicks me out too.. i hope u guys can still fix this bug..but don’t worry! i’ll still rate it 5!
This app would probably receive 5 stars if it didn’t regularly clear the current figures on the screen. I use this app to keep a running tally of my pay over the course of a week. The app randomly erases my current tally. I save my data at the end of each day, so that feature is helpful. But every day, when I add my new data, the app randomly erases what I’ve added. So, I have to go back to my saved data and start again. It’s extremely frustrating. Please fix it!
One of the MOST ANNOYING experiences about using this calculator despite Samsung’s intellect, is the simple fact that when trying to use radicals, the calculator app switches to landscape mode and gives me a headache every single time. I would recommend that you at least able to utilize all the functions of the calculator while still retaining portrait mode.
It’s a calculator app it does what it’s supposed to do without adds or any random issues. These 1 star reviews for cosmetic stuff can’t change the color, or you don’t know how to turn off that click with each button press, are silly. It takes up minimal storage, opens quickly, and does the math I’m either too lazy to do or don’t want to do. And that math teacher kept saying you won’t have a calculator in your pocket all the time.
Their App is very accurate and easy to use. I use it to confirm My own Calculations that I do in My Mind or on paper and it helps Me to know that I’m correct for the most part, but it is very Helpful when I’m not sure about percentage Calculations which Helps a lot because Percentage Rates seem to be changing faster than I can keep up with lol.

Great app. My only issue is that it’s always in split screen mode, with scientific buttons that I’ll never use.
If you have an equation 50 + 50 and you need to add a second term in between the 2 numbers, hitting + will not add another plus because there’s already one there. Also if you add a parentheses after a number it always faces right, even if the next parentheses you add are to the left of it. May seem like small issues but I’ve run into them enough in the last few days using this to make me uninstall.
good calculator, but some of the controls are a bit confusing. you have to put your phone on landscape for the variety of tools to show, and some tools are a but difficult to use, but math and numbers aren’t my forté, so I would naturally have a worse time than most with this.
There is a glitch with with calculator, when i try to divide (%) a number after I press divide i go to press the next number it automatically adds a multiply (×) sign and changes it to a multiply, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and have the same problem
The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is that I would like to see the calculator floating over current open pages in mini mode. For ease of access to numbers required for use with the calculator. Instead of toggling back fowards between pages. An idea for the devs, maybe in the updates in the future. Cheers
