User Reviews for Battery APP
Superb app, maybe the best battery app yet. Thanks for helping us save our batteries! Pay for night mode, really? Usually a free item. 1 bug : charge time est. starts out low by 8x! [Easy fix: calc by battery_mah/charge_ma_avg × %charge_needed/100]. It is missing an important bit: low battery alarms we can set. Why should we have to get another app? Also missing are battery drain reports for screen, wifi, flashlight, and idle. All are charged to FG app. I have to open the device app to get them. On my tablet, the screen is always 40%+ of total battery drain during the day. I look forward to the next version, please keep the innovation going! One more thing: An alarm should always start very low volume, get gradually louder. Battery full chime is too soft, need a control. Thanks for great battery writeup on web!

Have the pro key, but keeps displaying a banner requesting I upgrade to pro or I will see ads. Restore purchase button not working, not finding my purchase in the play inventory. Quite frustrating having to restore my purchase every week.
Works as needed, and not super annoying. Using it mostly to determine and monitor which of my many charging device/cable pairings give the best output.
so far so good!
There some “hit and miss” with the app. Some info is correct, some is “exaggerated” i mean, i’d love it if my phone can have 29h of sot on single charge .. lol but ofc, it could be different with other phone
The app crashes on average three times a week, and I only usually find out after I pick up my phone to find it already at 99% charge instead of getting an alert at 90%. The full screen ads are obnoxious but I suppose necessary to keep it free. It would be easier to stomach the ads if the app had seen any recent updates or stability improvements.
Useful charger and battery management tool. Helps figuring out which charger and/or USB cable is good or needs replacement. This App measures the electrical current in milliamps when plugged in and when battery is discharging or with screen on or off too. Accurate realistic measurements and my favorite feature is how it shows WHICH Apps are using your battery the most so you can enable/disable them but doesn’t measure CPU. Free version. A great tool but four stars as it uses battery&data.
I got a pro version and in “mypurchase”, they give a link to buy them a coffee, looks like a modded app, but I download it from google play, so I’m confused
Great app, provides a lot of useful information about my battery and history so I can see my habits. 2 things are missing that I think would make it perfect. 1) A line graph that shows charge/discharge over time. Currently the information is just shown as a list. 2) A cumulative line graph of cycles over time. Currently there is a bar graph showing cycles per day, but it doesn’t give a picture of total cycles nor does it show the usage rate clearly. If they provided these graphs I would easily be willing to upgrade to pro for them.
I bought a used Galaxy S8 plus which has an internal non removable battery. This app was very helpful and let me know the condition of the battery currently have over 95% capacity after one year . Very happy with the ease of use of this application. I routinely set the alert to notify me when the phone is 80% charged to increase longevity of battery.
using 127MB data – is this really all needed or just lazy coding?
It’s a good app. It has many features. I have it on my LG G8X for 2 months. However after a couple of months of use with a brand new battery that I put in my LG V20 on the same day I installed this app after a few months like after an update or something the app crashed and lost every month of stored data. That sucked, the app became useless and I uninstalled it. Also don’t expect developers to offer anything new in the pro version for CPU usage. We are all still waiting for that to change.
Just fine
Richtig gute app die benutzung vab mich erfreut
It works and provides detailed information about Apps hogging power
doesn’t detect full charges but otherwise is a great app
I don’t know a whole lot about batteries, but it makes sense that they get stressed out when charging towards 100%. With this app you can have it tell you when it gets to a certain % charged. Unless I anticipate needing a full charge, I can stop charging at 80%. My phone and battery are 4-5 years old and still holding a very respectable charge and I’m convinced it is because of this app. I run the pro version on all of my android devices.
I found the information provided informative. I have changed my charging methods. Some tools such as an audible alarm would be very helpful. If the app could identify which apps are consuming so much power while asleep that would alone make this app a 5.
Much more detailed battery information than I thought you could get from a phone app. I learned a lot about how to treat my battery, what drains it the most, and ultimately how close I am to needing a new one. The only thing I hope is included in the future is some more description about the data. Some of these things require thought to understand. One thing that would be REALLY AWESOME is if the app compared your battery to other user’s phones. I’m sure the app could detect your model and show you how good your battery is doing compared to the average user who has the app as well. Or enter the info in if that is not an option.
Great basic app for battery info. Needs a homescreen widget that displays charge percentage in a circular bar. Also needs an app section that shows how each app effects the battery as the info that comes standard is very lack luster.
Great app, but lacking 3 important features. This app would be 5 stars if it had: 1) Temperature alarm, 2) Customizable sound when charger is disconnected, and 3) Alarm when the battery drops to a certain level such as 30%. High temperatures and extreme states of discharge are destructive to lithium ion batteries. This app does not offer alarms or proof to the contrary addressing those issues. This app could add a feature that makes a sound when charging is disconnected since Android doesn’t.
