User Reviews for Battery APP

Superb app, maybe the best battery app yet. Thanks for helping us save our batteries! Pay for night mode, really? Usually a free item. 1 bug : charge time est. starts out low by 8x! [Easy fix: calc by battery_mah/charge_ma_avg × %charge_needed/100]. It is missing an important bit: low battery alarms we can set. Why should we have to get another app? Also missing are battery drain reports for screen, wifi, flashlight, and idle. All are charged to FG app. I have to open the device app to get them. On my tablet, the screen is always 40%+ of total battery drain during the day. I look forward to the next version, please keep the innovation going! One more thing: An alarm should always start very low volume, get gradually louder. Battery full chime is too soft, need a control. Thanks for great battery writeup on web!

“Last full charge” is not working correctly regardless of following AccuBattery guidance – even discharging down to 11% and then up to 100% does not always work.

It beeps at me while charging to tell me when I have reached the high end of my target range. I can dismiss that alarm via the notification when I want to exceed that charge; otherwise it will warn me again every few minutes. I trust the app. It doesn’t give me unnecessary notifications. I vaguely recall that it took me a bit of clicking to set it up to my liking but since then it’s been smooth sailing.

It’s probably the most accurate charge notifier out there but I can’t seem to find actual alarm setting for charging. It has notification settings but I don’t want to just be notified because it only alerts once and can easily be missed. It needs to have proper alarm. Maybe it’s there but if it can’t easily be found then it needs to be reworked to be more discoverable.

Excellent app. Installed on both my mobile devices. Clear and concise interface. Battery health takes a few days to collect data but is accurate and gives clear readings. The charge alarm is a really handy feature too, and I use it where I can, though because it doesn’t stop charging (I don’t think any app can), can be a pain to use overnight. I spent the 3.5, bucks on premium, this is certainly an excellent tool.

It’s useful to get an estimate of battery health and I like the alarm feature to warn when the desired state of charge has been reached. One star deducted because i don’t see the point in only measuring foreground usage of apps. Surely it’s just as important to know what’s stealing juice in the background. Then, if need be, it can be dealt with as necessary.

Installed this to keep track of my battery health on my Pixel 8 Pro. The app refuses to detect a full charge, even when charging from under 15% until when the charge alarm goes off. No helpful information provided by the dev to remedy this issue. After the “ad-free trial period” expires, the cost to purchase Pro increases … but the app doesn’t fully work regardless, so definitely not buying that. Uninstalled!

The features are comprehensive and excellently presented. But it keeps crashing randomly, every several days, and ONLY while charging, leaving my phone to silently push all the way to 100%. Since the charge alarm is the main reason to have the app, this sucks. Would be an easy 5 stars if it didn’t persistently fail at the wrong time.

Not bad. Default alarm that a user sets to a specified percentage to unplug the device can be improved with louder and repeating tones as it’s very easy to miss. I am a bit skeptical on the theory of charging a device to full wears down battery life faster though but I guess modern batteries do not suffer from memory effects. Also would like to have an option not to show the battery percentage for OCD users like me and perhaps a reminder that a user sets when it’s time to charge the battery when it’s approaching a value set by the user

I used AccuBattery Pro all the time on my Galaxy Tab S with stock Android 6.0.1 (if I remember the version number correctly). To resolve the problem of limited internal storage (due to bloatware) I installed LineageOS 7.1.2. Now, AccuBattery is unable to read the current. I tested another app from the Playstore and it was able to read the current – So, AccuBattery has a bug – I am very disappointed. UPDATE: I discovered that I must give permission to Accubattery to access the current.

Does not accurately display voltage or amps on tablet, but somehow gets within 10% on watts. Tried the optional settings with no joy. If this were a Swiss army app it would almost be excusable, but batteries and charging info is what it does. I cross checked the electric source with three different in line meters, all agreeing with each other but not this app. I like this app and hope it gets updated and becomes an accurate trustworthy tool.

It seems like I’ve been hearing about the damage overcharging causes to my phone and tablet batteries for ages, but it’s really difficult to avoid. This “AccuBattery” app is the perfect solution to the problem. No extra hardware needed! Just a simple alarm that sounds when the battery has reached the setting I choose like 85% and alarms again each time the charge climbs another percentage point. Pure genius and simplicity. I love clean, well thought out, and effective software like this.

A so-so rating from me. App looks good though. Provides a lot of information. But I installed it to learn the battery health on my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro tablet and nothing shows on the Battery health page. Doesn’t work. Nor can I take advantage of the 80% charge warning. I destroyed two of these tablets before I learned that having them being charged while in use causes a battery to over heat majorly so this one only gets charged nowadays when off. I have an LG phone like that too.

Great app, really needs an alarm feature for temperature in case of overheating with the rise of wireless charging. This app already has an alarm feature for battery level, and already monitors the temperature, but I have to download a superate app to get an alarm letting me know I want to stop charging due to heat. Even if it’s pro only (which I did think was worth buying), Id like to only run one monitoring app instead of two.

Seems pretty solid but it popped up and asked me to review before I have had to charge 3 times. Edit: I forgot I wrote the review when pestered. I installed the app on another device over a year later and again got the prompt to review 60ish hours after install …maybe the third time opening the app on tablet. I havent needed to charge the tablet so there isnt any info but this app isn’t invasive beyond the prompt to review. I recommend it to everyone to have the nice data points on devices.
