User Reviews for Battery APP
Superb app, maybe the best battery app yet. Thanks for helping us save our batteries! Pay for night mode, really? Usually a free item. 1 bug : charge time est. starts out low by 8x! [Easy fix: calc by battery_mah/charge_ma_avg × %charge_needed/100]. It is missing an important bit: low battery alarms we can set. Why should we have to get another app? Also missing are battery drain reports for screen, wifi, flashlight, and idle. All are charged to FG app. I have to open the device app to get them. On my tablet, the screen is always 40%+ of total battery drain during the day. I look forward to the next version, please keep the innovation going! One more thing: An alarm should always start very low volume, get gradually louder. Battery full chime is too soft, need a control. Thanks for great battery writeup on web!

useful. might be an “estimate”, but the articles and research is worth the education and will foster good charging and discharging habits.
more detail than another apps
Probably OK if you use your battery each time under 15% which I’ve never done in my life and also top it up each time in one long charge to 100% that also I never do since I use wireless charging and I usually have to pick up my phone several times during the charging process. I wish it had a more down to earth ways to extrapolate the health status of the battery that in my unit is degraded since it has been used daily for 6 years, for example by metering the mAh consumption against the charge
Hit miss. Need improvement s to give atleast 90-95% correct results,if not 100%.
Great for measuring screen on time and battery health.
Good
this is the bomb battery app! gives volts and amps and has the usage for individual apps. has a nice “right now” amperage overlay so you can tell when you are using a lot of power. allows tuning of your usage to stretch the daily battery life. has an alarm to tell you when your selected charge level is reached (charging to 100% actually cuts the year life of your battery, better to go to 80%). has a battery aging cycle meter so you can improve your charging practices to get maximum year life.
Great app. As a fellow enginerd, this app provides all kinds of data about battery usage, discharge stats, and battery capacity (the main reason I initially downloaded it). I was so impressed with the UI and the presentation, and the content, that I bought the team a treat. I’m still not exactly sure what that did in terms of upgrading the app to “pro” but they earned it. Well done!
Useful app to really maximize battery life. The missing star is because of Android’s habit of deactivating the app, requiring manual intervention. It would be perfect if it functioned as a charge alarm without any intervention.
This app used to be a lot more useful, but now it’s degraded significantly. Suspect it’s been bought out or something? No longer reliably tracks my charge/discharge sessions, takes several seconds to open sometimes. Intrusive ads. Clearing data as suggested did not help. Uninstalled since I’m good about manually unplugging at 80% charge now to avoid unnecessary battery stress. Only thing it’s still useful for me is seeing charging current and temperature.
It’s a decent app. I love the charge alarm feature, it’s an absolute must. I like seeing my graphs, but I wish there was more useful information to see and even more graphs to mess around with. I had to reset my phone recently and I restored the app from a backup, but all my data from the past 3 years got wiped. I wish there was an option to backup my data or save it to the cloud. It also annoys me that even though I bought the pro version, it doesn’t seem to transfer over to my second phone.
AccuBattery collects presents a wealth of data to help you maximize total battery (and thus your mobile’s) lifetime. A go-to tool. Update: Used Samsung SmartSwitch to move apps, settings, data to new phone suddenly was seeing off the wall charge-current numbers. (Trust me, you can’t get 123 Amperes out of a wall wart.) Simply reinstalling the app w a fresh download fixed it I’m back to what is still the best choice I’ve found for battery monitoring. 6 stars if they’d alllow. [g=guzhang][g=guzhang][g=guzhang]
Neat app, provides lots of useful information, probably more than you need. Well worth a donation to the developer for the insight provided. Only drawback was I did have to uninstall when not in use, as on my Pixel it caused the battery to drain heavily. It didn’t see it or seem to effect the data, but I could watch percentages drop 2-3x regular pace through the day without no other changes to routine. Phone on in mostly standby with no background app usage, screen on less than one hour, 8 hours of run time dropped battery level from a normal 100 down to 75/80% without the app running to 100 down to 44-32% with the app running.
[g=daku][g=daku] There is a learning curve to understand the wealth of information in the app, as it’s information rich – it’s leaps ahead of Apple’s Battery Health in iOS! … Once you get used to it, you wonder why Android devices don’t have this by default. Bought the full version, well worth it. Bought it twice by mistake, and when I asked for help to properly install the app on a second device, the app publisher refunded my second purchase without me asking (the app is not limited to one device). Class act!
Provides a lot of detailed information, but one piece of crucial information is missing: BACKground app battery usage. Something is suckying my battery dry while not using my phone. I hoped this app could help me find the culprit. But alas, it only shows Foreground app battery usage. I believe that identifying what’s emptying your phone in the background is far more interesting than what’s emptying it in the foreground, especially if you don’t use your phone constantly.
I love the app, it’s great for testing a devices battery capacity. Good way to tell if you got screwed on a renewed phone purchase. However, I want the pro version and it won’t let me purchase it. So that’s kinda weird to not let people pay for pro features. Everytime I try to buy it, i get a “sorry something went wrong on our end” error.
I have been using this app for 2 years now, and I believe it has helped keep my Galaxy S8 battery like new. I have 95% capacity still, which is unheard of in my older phones without using this to track/monitor my usage. It was would be good to disable the charge alarm when paired with a certain device. In this instance, Android Auto in my car. Either way still great. Keep up the good work Devs with your software!!
It’s not accurate. Every time I bought a new phone, the battery health was around 90%.
Don’t think it can pick up real stats on super charge 100w. E.g on honor magic Pro 7
This is quite honestly a great app. It shows a lot of data to use and pick through if you’re into that, but also has the more common info front and center for more optimal viewing. The notification is nice for current usage, times, and time left, as well as usage percentages. I’d definitely reccomend the pro version as well to support the devs. What are you doing still reading reviews? C’mon, just download it. It’ll be the only battery related app you need.
