User Reviews for Battery APP

Superb app, maybe the best battery app yet. Thanks for helping us save our batteries! Pay for night mode, really? Usually a free item. 1 bug : charge time est. starts out low by 8x! [Easy fix: calc by battery_mah/charge_ma_avg × %charge_needed/100]. It is missing an important bit: low battery alarms we can set. Why should we have to get another app? Also missing are battery drain reports for screen, wifi, flashlight, and idle. All are charged to FG app. I have to open the device app to get them. On my tablet, the screen is always 40%+ of total battery drain during the day. I look forward to the next version, please keep the innovation going! One more thing: An alarm should always start very low volume, get gradually louder. Battery full chime is too soft, need a control. Thanks for great battery writeup on web!

Was amazing… Until update. I originally downloaded last year and bought premium I liked it so much. Charge alarm no longer works, I have read somewhere (by the app author on the playstore) that the charge alarm was now controlled by something else on the phone. Either way, I cannot get it to work, I’m yet to see any information on the app itself about this change and how to fix it. The charge alarm is the most useful part of the app and it’s no longer working. Please help me fix it.

Only going with 3 stars for now, only because there is no option to set an alarm for the user to set a low battery level, to alert when it’s time to charge. I love the alarm to alert when charge has reached my set limit but anyone that knows anything at all about lithium ion and lithium polymer batteries, also knows that a very low level of battery charge is just as detrimental to the battery as a full charge. I absolutely love everything else about the app, though.

A great app for managing my battery usage/life. Only request is that there be more choices for the alarm…they are too short and play only once, which makes it easy to miss. Volume and duration options would really help. I often end up with a fully charged battery because the alarm is missed.

Amazing battery and charger app, I thought my battery was toast, turned out every cord I had was useless, finally grabbed the one from the car and lucked out – blazing charge now, I can use the tablet indefinitely while charging, the analysis and communication of parameters and approach to focusing on meaningful data are intuitive and insightful, the permissions are non intrusive while other apps want your contact list (?!?!), and the $3 purchase price isn’t even a fancy coffee. Extremely pleased and impressed with this app, it was exactly what I hoped to find in a sea of garbage lol

I can’t test this out because my tablet lacks the battery information to know what are my battery is good or bad it’s apparently RCA does not know how to put correct battery controller in this tablet thank you so much your app seems amazing unfortunately I wish my tablet supported these features and I hope that these lack of features as it caused the battery to do something bad one day

I’m impressed with the information this app provides. Plus in addition to keeping track of the general history of my battery use it’s helped raise awareness of some of my bad habits with phone usage. Update: I’ve used this app on 4 devices now (3 phones and a tablet) and it’s worked brilliantly with all of them. One of the phones had a failing battery and with aid from the app’s historical data I was able to convince the provider to waive normal replacement fee. YMMV, of course.

very useful. the battery temp alone makes it completely worth it. I hang out in saunas and this app has probably saved my phone a dozen times by now. totally worth the optional dollar or two they ask that you donate.

Great battery app, easy to use and understand. But I have one complaint. For phones such as mine (OnePlus 9 Pro) that have 2 batteries, the battery capacity is cut in half (Design Capacity 4500mAh, Estimated Capacity 2126mAh). I don’t mind if they just multiply the value by 2 for phones that have 2 batteries (perhaps an option in the settings), but please make it accurate.

The only thing that is lacking is a LOW BATTERY ALARM with custom percentage specific sound

This is a great app, super informative and very helpful in learning how to maximize your battery lifespan (not how long it takes to die in a day, I’m talking about how long it takes to degrade and carry less power per “full” charge). My only regret is not knowing about this till over a year of straining my battery!

So advertisements are coming soon but this app is amazing. Doesn’t rely on sensors as much as metrics applied to science. Anybody can do the math, but this app is like a spreadsheet with macros on steroids. I’m not sure if it’s for everybody, in my experience people don’t understand their devices enough to properly use such software, but that just means a negative review is probably from a less intelligent user.

Great app. Could use more customisation options for the alarms, eg repeat alarms, screen flashing (+intense repeat vibrations) for the hearing impared… Unless it’s my error, would be good to have alarm to prompt plugging-in the device, not just to unplug it. Has missed my calibration attempts where I had to discharge the device to <15% then charge to full – so I haven’t been able to operate the app to the fullest. Devs please let me know if thats my user issue. Otherwise, a VERY useful app.

What would make this app truly useful would be if it turned off the phone charger at the ideal battery charge percentage (~80%). There’s a reason people plug in their phone chargers at bedtime. They’re busy the rest of the day-at work etc., and can’t babysit their cellphone chargers by responding to alarms. I’d like to just plug my phone in and have it shut off, not have to unplug it myself. You should also be able to override on occasion and charge to 100% if max operating time is needed.

Needs improvements, It’s a shame to see apps that looks so bad on 10″ display, developers should optimise they’re apps for both smartphones and tablets. Nowadays android is used even on very large screens. another issues is the fact that the app doesn’t remember the overlay settings therefore i have to set cpu usage widget everytime i power on the device. 5 starts as soon as they fix this, pro member here, cheers
