User Reviews for Battery APP

Superb app, maybe the best battery app yet. Thanks for helping us save our batteries! Pay for night mode, really? Usually a free item. 1 bug : charge time est. starts out low by 8x! [Easy fix: calc by battery_mah/charge_ma_avg × %charge_needed/100]. It is missing an important bit: low battery alarms we can set. Why should we have to get another app? Also missing are battery drain reports for screen, wifi, flashlight, and idle. All are charged to FG app. I have to open the device app to get them. On my tablet, the screen is always 40%+ of total battery drain during the day. I look forward to the next version, please keep the innovation going! One more thing: An alarm should always start very low volume, get gradually louder. Battery full chime is too soft, need a control. Thanks for great battery writeup on web!

Very useful app for learning the power behavior and battery health of your device based on actual measurement and analytics. Works very well for me 👍🏻

Mainly good readings. Pretty helpful. Only feature that doesn’t work is battery health. I have ran the battery down to 5% and up to 100 a few times and it still says there’s never been a full charge on my phone on your app for my pixel tablet or my pixel 8 pro

I truly believe that this app has extended the life of my 🔋. Because it gives you detailed stats on the decay inflicted on my battery during the charging process, I can take steps to extend the life of my 🔋 before replacement and maintain its charge capacity. It lets you set a custom alarm to alert you when a certain amount of decay has accrued during charging, based on your own cost-benefit analysis. 🔋 temperature, app 🔋 usage, charge/discharge rate history all in the notification tray! A+

very helpful app to track battery usage, I just want that I can see full app usage with timings and background app usages (which apps are draining battery in the background) just add this feature too

I recently replaced my ZTE axon 7 because of battery issues. In an effort to stave off problems with my new one, I looked for an app that would keep track of my battery capacity. AccuBattery was the best one on the market and it was free. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the app uses data gathered from scientists and published in peer-reviewed journals to prove that charging to 80% is better than 100%. BEST APP YOU CAN FIND!!!

Would be great if the remaining time was calculated using the current battery discharge rate insted of the average, also, per app battery usage is pretty bad since it only takes into account apps in the foreground and includes screen consumption, other than that it’s great

I applause you on your app development and deployment. The details are fantastic for basic and advanced users, enabling them to get the longest life out of their costly devices. This is vital when many phone and tablets don’t receive the necessary tools and or documentation, for them to change something as easy as a battery. Manufacturers mislead them by stating that the battery can’t be changed out. This forces many users to upgrade their devices prematurely. Thanks for helping everyone.

Very nice app to keep track of your battery health and the best practices associated with it. The only reason I’m giving it a three-star is because it does not have a profile option. Like you cannot save your devices and history, the other day I have to delete and reinstall the app and all the data was gone from my past 2 years. My battery health what’s 83% based on 12 sessions, its gone!

Seems to do the job I expected. Annoying when I know I need to recharge outside the standard routine. Numbers displayed need to be much bigger. I have normal vision but still need to squint at it. Number in circle is cute, not helpful. Otherwise product does what it says. I would recommend it.

I’ve been using this app through my last three phones. It’s interesting to see more data about my battery life, it’s environmentally friendly to unplug when you’re full and the reminder helps with that, and on my last trade in, my phone was in better condition and worth more than estimated. I attribute that to the battery health I maintained by using this app!

Impressively robust for a free app! Early on it’s calculations are way off when discharging, but I haven’t been using it for very long. My tablet was asleep for a day, so now that’s Accu’s reference, but now my tablets awake and going down 10% an hour, somehow I have 17 hours to go. Accu does seem to improve as it gathers more info though. Also, I wish there was more brevity in places. It took me a while to wrap my head around everything it’s telling me.

Do you really need this app? Probably not, but I’m a junkie for monitoring system stats and this scratches that itch. It records your charging and discharging use, shows how that can affect long term battery life, reports app usage, and offers an overlay for real time use that is quite useful to for instant feedback. I like the idea of the charge alarm, but wish it was automatic to disable charging as I plug in my devices while I sleep.

This is a helpful app with good information. There are a few improvements I’d love to see. 1) Add a graph of battery health over time so I can see how my capacity is changing. 2) Discharging a battery further also degrades the battery, so it would be nice to track the low points, not just the charging peaks. 3) I’d like a configurable alarm if my battery gets below some level.

Purchased Premium to support developer. After reboot, app does not give notification, vibration or alarm, when charge level is reached. Lenovo Tab M8, Android 9. As of this posting I see that the last update was Jan 2020 – abandoned app?

Why is the charging current a negative value? And why is the battery voltage above 4.3v when fully charged. I do not assume that the battery voltage is measured at the terminals?

Overkill for my use case: a quick assessment of battery health, similar to what you can get by running battery tests on a laptop. Doing that on this app was tedious enough that I gave up. Also, and most important for me, this app is not compatible with Android Auto in that it yells at you for plugging your phone into your car (required for AA) if your battery is past its “ideal” charge %, and it keeps yelling at you periodically until you unplug. It got so annoying I finally uninstalled.
