User Reviews for Battery APP

Superb app, maybe the best battery app yet. Thanks for helping us save our batteries! Pay for night mode, really? Usually a free item. 1 bug : charge time est. starts out low by 8x! [Easy fix: calc by battery_mah/charge_ma_avg × %charge_needed/100]. It is missing an important bit: low battery alarms we can set. Why should we have to get another app? Also missing are battery drain reports for screen, wifi, flashlight, and idle. All are charged to FG app. I have to open the device app to get them. On my tablet, the screen is always 40%+ of total battery drain during the day. I look forward to the next version, please keep the innovation going! One more thing: An alarm should always start very low volume, get gradually louder. Battery full chime is too soft, need a control. Thanks for great battery writeup on web!

I downloaded it and it gives some useful tips and information. The only bad thing I found is that it creates an annoying system notification that cannot be removed and is there all the time. It gives information I don’t need. I even bought the Pro version and the notification still can’t be removed, so I had to disable notifications for this app in Settings > Applications. If the developers would add an option to completely remove this notification, I would give it five stars.

Great app!! Accurately reads the amount of power your phone is receiving while it’s charging and how much it discharges when it’s not. Good way to test your chargers to see how good they are how quickly they will charge your phone. Tells you the amount of wear you’ve put on your battery and how much charge your battery can still hold. Gives you an estimated time frame for how long it will take to charge your phone to 80% and 100%.

This app has, in as few words as possible, done wonders for me. It is everything I want, need, and desire in a convenience app. It’s battery tracking is possibly one of the best on the market, and it’s alarm customizablity is the best I’ve ever had in a phone app. The only thing I dislike about this app is how often the percentage at the top left stops working, but given that my phone is actual trash, I believe that it is not the app causing the issue. Still, that is why I didn’t give it 5 stars

This app is really nice and gives A LOT of information about you battery! Also paying only 4€ for lifetime pro features is just peak (But 4€ for a coffee? You getting Starbucks or sum? no Offense tho, probably taxes) anyways this app is peak!!!! (Even though I’ve granted permission to this app to run on background but it still gets killed 💔)

This is a cool app. I appreciate not having ads popping up all the time. Fast foward to present date 23/09/2019. I set my phone to alarm at 90% and the alarm did not go off. Reduced to 3 stars.

I’ve been using this app for years now. Still loving it. I loving have so much data available, but from a practical standpoint, being able to set a point in the charge cycle for it to notify me (I have mine set at 80%) so I can take it off my charger is nice, and helps preserve the battery. It can’t stop the charging for you unfortunately, but at least you can have it notify you. Highly recommend.

Great job at monitoring cell phone battery, it quit buzzing me when it hit my 80% charging mark, deleted it and reloaded app, working OK again some of my friends charge their cellphone overnight. then they wonder why the battery seems to discharge faster during the day. i tell they accubattery doesn’t recommend doing that. my battery still works well in my 5 year old phone. Get and use this app!

Great when it was working. I’ve reinstalled the app and now in the health tab, I’m always met with a “no full charge detected” message. I’ve discharged and charged my phone and tablet below 15% and almost to 100%, but still receive this message. The app actually doesn’t log these full charge sessions and thus doesn’t measure my battery health correctly. I also make sure my app has the unrestricted optimization battery setting. I couldn’t find any solution so I deleted the app now.

This is definitely one of the better if not the best battery apps. But I do have one suggestion, every Android phone already has the option to have the battery percentage in the status bar, can you give us an option to show the net drain or charge in the status bar, The persistent notification lists this as Now: the battery percentage in the status bar is redundant! Thanks for the great app.

Good app! Reports battery size as “Design Capacity.” I’m assuming that means battery size but hard to tell.

More than expected, even with unpaid version. An inordinate amount of battery information giving me better control of my devices. Without the ability to swap batteries, once they go, so does the device. This has given me an extension of my phones and tablets battery life without any noticeable effect on speed. Tweaking the alarm and the occasional shutdown of the app is well worth the effort. Try this one.

Use this app! Why? First, you can access the actual battery load-data, whether charging, or discharging. Witness the effect every event using power on the phone has on power usage, such as an app performing a task (like GPS guidance), or something as simple as the brightening of the screen. Second, it’s extremely rare an app will physically change a phone. But by increase of awareness of the factors that degrade a phone battery, the app permits you to physically retain performance. That is rare.
