User Reviews for Battery APP

Superb app, maybe the best battery app yet. Thanks for helping us save our batteries! Pay for night mode, really? Usually a free item. 1 bug : charge time est. starts out low by 8x! [Easy fix: calc by battery_mah/charge_ma_avg × %charge_needed/100]. It is missing an important bit: low battery alarms we can set. Why should we have to get another app? Also missing are battery drain reports for screen, wifi, flashlight, and idle. All are charged to FG app. I have to open the device app to get them. On my tablet, the screen is always 40%+ of total battery drain during the day. I look forward to the next version, please keep the innovation going! One more thing: An alarm should always start very low volume, get gradually louder. Battery full chime is too soft, need a control. Thanks for great battery writeup on web!

Very useful app for seeing detailed information about your battery use. Also it helps calibrate the battery when charging and when it is not. Switching off and charging with this app saves money.

Accubattery is easy to use, and has many useful features. It doesn’t have gimmicky features, or a plethora of ads, like some other similar apps have. It definitely provides useful information on power usage. You can also set an alarm for a predetermined percentage of charge. If your looking for a battery app I recommend trying this app.

Great app for accurate battery readings! I’ve been using this app for years and always recommend it. One problem though, today I was trying to purchase the pro (I’ve had it before on another Gmail account, but don’t mind supporting again), but when pressing any of the donate options it greets me with an error: “Something went wrong on our end. Please try again.”

The app is useful at some level but not really that accurate and confusing, I paid for pro too, the problem that these over 100% numbers, like percentage 400% for 5 sessions, it doesn’t make any sense, and my battery of 5 years is dying already and quickly getting discharged yet, the app says it is 91%? And I’m on 35% and the app tells me it is enough for around 4 hours on screen, well, I doubt it, I got from 41 to 35 within 7 minutes without any app in the background.

I like AccuBattery a lot, particularly because it has a battery charging level alarm, unlike any other battery app that I’m aware of. You can set the alarm to alert you to when the battery has reached a certain level of charge. Thus, you can avoid overcharging your battery which helps tremendously extend the life of the battery. Of course, many users would be unwilling to only charge to 80% (AccuBatteries default charging level alarm setting). The app has all the information you could ever want

Would be 4.5 or 5 if it had a battery drain graph. Just a simple graph that shows over time percentage battery remaining. That would give a good visual image of how fast the battery drained and charged over the past 24 or 48 hours. Currently one must install a separate app for that. Top: Open the app daily to ensure Android sees it as a often used app so it doesn’t shut it down in the background. Turning on ‘allow in background’ doesn’t totally prevent it from being shut down in the background.

WE NEED ACCUBATTERY CLASSIC FOR OLDER Android OS LOWER TIER PHONES! a tablet version. PLAY says the app’s Not optimized for my Galaxy Tab S2. Also, following the Accubattery advice skews the results on the “health” tab, negatively, affecting reliability. my brand new Galaxy Tab S7 tested at 92% battery capacity, right out of the box, but when I started charging up to 100%, the health rating went up to 100%. Plz Adjust your calculations, algorythms to take it into account.

Superbly diesel interface. Everything you need to know about your battery — I can’t think of anything more that this app could display regarding battery status.

Good features but I keep finding it closed while been charging for a while, I just see no notification of the app and need to start it again from app drawer, happens very frequently lately, I’m on stock android 15 on a pixel device and have disabled the battery optimization. Not sure why the app keeps crashing on its own while device is charging but I’m starting to get tired of this behavior, besides I’m on the paid plan.

This is one of the most important apps I have in my phone. It has helped me tremendously with the charging cycles, speeds, and heat management, and so far I have lost only 20% battery capacity in 4 years on my phone, but I do admit that I have mostly charged it up to 67 to 85% and unintentionally 100% every few days. The charge alarm is really helpful, specially for older devices, however, I wish, I could also set a low battery alarm, and just stop the charging altogether as soon as it hits 80%.

There’s a saying: what can’t be tracked, can’t be managed. My internal (Nexus 6p) battery was dying super quick. Installed this app and saw (after a few dozen charges) that the health was at around 60% unacceptable. Took the phone apart and installed a new battery. Reset the app data and charged a few dozen more times- at around 107% (and it feels like it!)

A must to extend battery life. I used to not care how long devices stayed plugged into the charger even if at 100%. I use this on all the older devices I manage 2 new phones (S9 S9+). I found on the older phones, it is harder to manage charging to 80% for a number of reasons. Instead, charging to 100% or just a bit less is necessary, but to disconnect immediately when the alert sounds. This is far better for battery life than before. With newer phones, 80% max charge is easy to maintain.
